San Mateo, Calif. - March 5, 2021 - Today, Zinier announced the appointment of Prateek Chakravarty as CEO, as the Silicon Valley-based company deepens its global network of enterprise customers, partners and industry veterans. Chakravarty takes on the leadership role from Arka Dhar - the entrepreneur and engineer who founded Zinier with Andrew Wolf - Zinier’s Chief Product Officer.
Dhar, now an advisor and evangelist for the company, said, “Prateek is an extraordinarily passionate leader who understands first-hand the unique opportunities and challenges within field service and our customers’ industries. I have no doubt that he will fully capitalize on the potential of our product, team and customers as Zinier defines the new era of field service delivery.”
Adoption of Zinier’s low-code platform continues to accelerate in 2021, as industry leaders including Toshiba, NCR and Black & Veatch tackle the complexities of field service - moving away from rigid legacy systems and toward more resilient solutions purpose-built for field service. Strategic alliances with partners including Tata Consultancy Services, Capgemini and Tech Mahindra continue to support global customer adoption and implementations.
“Our team has built a truly unique low-code technology platform under the leadership of Arka,” said Chakravarty. “I’m humbled to take the baton from him and build the human-machine workforce of the future with our world-class team of engineers and innovators.”
Chakravarty, a former startup founding member, investor and tech veteran, started his career as a field service engineer at Schlumberger Oilfield Services. His first-hand experience working in the field fuels his passion for empowering the world’s most critical service providers with technology to work smarter and safer. A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology and Harvard Business School, Chakravarty joined Zinier in 2020 as Chief Business Officer. In this role, he built out a global customer success and solution delivery team, and an enterprise sales organization.
